Blood Donor = Running 45 Minutes on Treadmill
Not many people are touch heart to donate blood. Some are still tied a number of myths that gave rise to fears groundless.
Do not get caught up false myths that prevent you from doing good for others! The following recognize the truth of myth, as well as health practitioners delivered the blood donor activists, dr. Diana Leiwakabessy.
Blood donors to make the body fat
Fact: Not true
Donating blood will not make your body fat. After donating blood, we are encouraged to consume more food. This is not in order to store fat, but to restore the fluid in the body and blood volume that were previously donated.
Donating blood will actually stimulate the body to burn 650 calories, equivalent to running 45 minutes on the treadmill. So in fact, donate blood to grow physically healthy.
Blood donors to make dizzy
Fact: Not true
For some of these effects arise not because of the reduced amount of blood in the body, but due to lack of oxygen levels in the brain. If this happens, overcome by increasing the drinking water. Avoid drinking coffee before blood donation, eat first and the rest.
Blood donors to make the body weak
Fact: Not true
Donating blood will not make the body weak. It will make the body becomes more fit. The emergence of a sense of weakness is usually due to blood donors after direct exposure to sunlight, driving, or smoking.
