DESCRIPTION
Wilms tumor is a rare kidney cancer that usually occurs in children aged 3-4 years, but began to rarely occur in children aged 5 years.
This condition is also called Nefroblastoma. These tumors most commonly occur in only one kidney, but did not rule out if it occurs in both kidneys.

The cause of Wilms tumor is still unclear. But doctors believe that the process of this cancer as well as other types of cancer.
Cells in the body of damaged DNA so that the cells grow and divide uncontrollably and form tumors. In the case of Wilms tumor, this process occurs in kidney cells.
In some cases, DNA damage leading to Wilms tumor is derived from the parent. But strangely in some cases of Wilms tumor is not found a link between parents and children that can cause cancer.
It could be that there is something that happens early in the growth of children who cause damage to DNA and form a Wilms tumor.
