Employees Can Control Her work rarely vacation

Someone who loves his job would be working with a vengeance, including making it more creative and dedicated to the company. Moreover, the study also found that employees are better able to manage the job well will not easily fall sick and take a prolonged leave of absence.

A researcher and orthopedic surgeon named Professor Markus Melloh of the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research and the University of Western Australia has made significant findings related to the length of work absences due to back pain.

This study shows that high employee control will take time off work fewer suffer from back pain when compared to other employees who work less control, Melloh said.

"For the first time, the risk of prolonged sick leave for those people who complain of back pain can be avoided with a simple and short-term methods such as talking to the supervisor, change and modify the working hours of work breaks. Long-term methods, including the empowerment of employees greater such employees are welcome to specify more of your own decisions.

"Absent sick because of ongoing pain conditions is a hot topic in Australia and around the world lately because a number of reasons," said Melloh as reported from healthcanal.

"But a shortage of skilled Australia that prolonged leave this issue could lead to unemployment and the decline in employee performance and provides an indirect effect on increasing health care costs if employee absent for too long."

This study monitored 310 patients who visited their doctor with back pain conditions and time off from work for several days. Participants were interviewed during the first meeting with the doctors, as well as at week-3, to-6, the 12 to 6 months. After 6 months, there were only 164 participants who participated and 7 percent were still on sick leave.

Melloh also revealed that back pain is a very important issue in Australia today because the condition is most common in reproductive age.

Melloh therefore suggested a number of ways to prevent long work absences (more than 6 months) due to back pain that is more empowering employees and making sure doctors keep abreast of state employees on a regular basis since the first meeting.
