New York Department of Health introduced a new application "Finder Services NYC Condom 'that allows New Yorkers who use smart phones to make a smart move before deciding in touch with her partner.
"New Yorkers have high mobility, so we need to reach them with information and easier access to sexual health information services wherever they are," said Dr. Thomas Farley, New York Health Commissioner, as reported by nydailynews.

By using GPS (Global Positioning System), the application can direct the citizens of New York at 1,000 centers in five regions of condoms, which Lifestyles brand condoms distributed free of charge.
"We distribute more than 36 million male condoms and female condoms 1 million last year," explained Dr. Farley.
Condoms are contraceptives that can not only prevent pregnancy, but also can prevent from sexually transmitted infections. Unfortunately, many men and women who use contraceptives are lazy on this one.
